News you can keep up with
News used to arrive the next morning. Now it breaks every second, in a hundred places at once. Instantly brings it together, so anyone can know what's happening the minute it happens, from every side, in their own language.
Our purpose
Following the news shouldn't mean refreshing five apps and still missing the one story that mattered.
Instant
Software can watch everything, all the time. We let it, so you hear about what you care about first.
Complete
One event, dozens of reports. We group them into one story and keep every source a tap away.
Fair
We show who's reporting a story and where they lean, so you can decide for yourself.
Yours
You pick the topics, places and publishers. We don't decide what's newsworthy for you.

What we value and how we act
01
Speed, without spin
Being first only matters if you're right. Stories stick to what the sources report.
02
Every side, in view
We show who's reporting a story and where they lean.
03
Honest about importance
Relevance scores and Top stories exist so you can tune out the noise.
04
Clear about AI
Our stories are written by AI from human reporting. We say so, and we credit the reporters.
05
Your language, your place
World news shouldn't depend on speaking English, and local news shouldn't depend on living in a big city.
06
Respect attention
No clickbait, no autoplay ads, no alerts you didn't ask for.
07
Respect privacy
No account required. We collect only what the app needs, and never sell your data.
Editorial standards
Sources first. Every story is written only from what the linked outlets report. If sources disagree, the story says so.
Neutral language. Headlines describe what happened, without loaded words or clickbait. Relevance is scored on impact, not on how many clicks a story might get.
Corrections. When we get something wrong, write to corrections@windlight.si. We fix the story and the fix reaches every reader.
Careers
A small team, so everyone works on everything. If you care about news and love shipping, we'd like to meet you.
