Is Instantly free?
Yes. Instantly is free to download and use.
Do I need an account?
No. Tap Skip for now and start reading. An account (Google or email) only syncs your topics, publishers, saved stories and location across devices.
Is there an iPhone app?
Not yet. Instantly is on Android today, and iPhone is next.
Who writes the stories?
AI writes every story from the reporting of the outlets listed under it. Every source is linked, so you can always read the original.
How is the political leaning worked out?
From ratings by AllSides, Ad Fontes Media and Media Bias/Fact Check. If none of them has rated an outlet, the bar is estimated by AI and labeled that way.
Can I follow a topic that isn't in the list?
Yes. Type anything (a team, a company, a person, a hobby) and Instantly starts watching the web for it straight away.
How do I stop notifications?
Open You → Notifications. Turn them off completely, set how important a story must be, or switch them off for any topic or publisher.
